A place to pause

To think clearly.
To move forward, in your own time.
Nadine Ekiya Abeng
I work with schools, leaders and individuals navigating complexity in work and life.

New on Meetup: When Life Feels Full

A gentle online evening for women who need a little space to pause, reflect and breathe.

Tuesday 28 April, 7.00 to 8.30 pm

When things feel complex or unclear, the instinct is often to push harder or do more.
My work is about doing the opposite.

1. We step back first

We create space to pause and see things clearly; what matters, what doesn’t, and what’s been getting lost in the noise.

2. We focus on what matters

Whether in schools or in life, clarity comes from understanding where to place your attention and energy.

3. We move forward with purpose

From that clarity, we take simple, grounded steps that feel right and are sustainable.

This can take different forms, depending on what you need.
For schools and leaders

Supporting English curriculum and strategic thinking; helping leaders make sense of policy changes and expectations, translating them into meaningful, sustainable practice.

For individuals

A space to pause, think clearly and make sense of what’s happening. Together, we explore what matters, what’s shifting, and what comes next; so you can move forward with clarity and confidence.

About Nadine

I’m Nadine.

I work with schools, leaders and individuals who are holding a lot; making decisions, supporting others and navigating complexity in work and life.

Over time, I’ve come to understand that clarity rarely comes from pushing harder. It comes from having the space to pause, think well and make sense of what’s really going on.

My work brings together both the practical and the reflective. One moment I might be working with a leadership team on curriculum or strategy, the next I’m sitting with someone as they think through a decision or a period of change.

I’m known for being calm, thoughtful and grounded; someone who listens carefully, asks the right questions and helps people move from uncertainty to purposeful action.

I’m also a mother of three, and much of what I care about; clarity, presence, resilience, comes not just from my work, but from how I live my life day to day.

If you’re looking for space to think clearly and move forward in a way that feels right, you’re very welcome here. You don’t need to have everything figured out before you arrive.
